Fans have been eagerly anticipating the return of the iconic trio Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar, and Suniel Shetty in the most-awaited Hera Pheri 3. However, Paresh Rawal left everyone in shock when he announced his departure from the film.

Although the veteran actor has returned to the film, fans have still been wondering the reason behind his sudden exit. Filmmaker Priyadarshan has reflected on the behind-the-scenes drama that led to Paresh Rawal’s exit from Hera Pheri 3.

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Priyadarshan debunked all the rumours about Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar’s feud. The director cited external pressures as the reason.

Priyadarshan shared, “Paresh and I never had an issue. To the best of my knowledge, even Akshay and Paresh never had any problems. There were other forces, bad forces, who were pressurising Paresh. He is someone who worries about his health, but that has never affected our relationship.”

The filmmaker also shared Akshay’s reaction drama, adding, “Akshay told me, ‘Prince sir, if it happens, let it happen. Otherwise, let’s forget it.’ There were other bad forces creating unnecessary issues, but it’s not worth discussing them. Filmmaking is like this—you have friends, enemies, fans, critics. I still don’t know how I’ve survived 40 years in the industry.”

Fans were left disappointed by Paresh Rawal's decision to leave Hera Pheri 3 in May of this year, with many saying they wouldn't watch the movie without him. Paresh insisted that he left because he no longer found the role appealing, despite rumours that he and Priyadarshan had creative disagreements. The reports also suggested that Akshay was even thinking of suing him for his abrupt departure.
