Prime Video launches HITS, an add-on subscription to watch iconic TV shows

Prime Video, India’s leading entertainment platform, has launched HITS, a popular television channel by Rewind Networks, as an add-on subscription.

HITS features a curated selection of culture-defining international TV drama and comedy series, bringing timeless classics like Frasier, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Agatha Christie's Poirot, Mission: Impossible, Quantum Leap, and I Dream of Jeannie directly to Indian audiences.

For just INR 299 annually, Prime members can subscribe to HITS and enjoy both scheduled linear broadcasts of their favorite shows, as well as the convenience of catching up on previously aired content.

This offering provides seamless access to premium international content, enhancing the viewing experience for fans of classic television.

Gaurav Bhasin, head of marketplace (add-on subscriptions and movie rentals) at Prime Video India, shared his excitement about the launch. “We’re thrilled to introduce HITS as an add-on subscription, offering an iconic lineup of shows that have defined pop culture.

Our aim with add-on subscriptions is to offer Prime members more choices, ease of access, and convenience, all within a single app. With HITS, viewers will embark on a nostalgic journey, enjoying some of the world’s most beloved TV series.”
