Another user, Mr. J, was more detailed in his critique, tweeting, “#Pani: Old wine in new bottle , Old wine in old bottle . Pani had every potential to be good but ended up being mid. Pani was watchable only because of the lead actor’s performance. With a wafer-thin plot and narration felt flat most of the times. But he did a good job as a first-timer. Editing is avg. Slow first half, much better thrilling second half.
