Dubai-based travel influencer and photographer Anunay Sood passed away on November 6, 2025, at the age of 32. The cause of his death has not yet been disclosed. His sudden demise has left his followers, colleagues, and close friends in deep shock.

Among the first to publicly express her grief was actor, author and content creator RJ Mahvash, who shared a screenshot of her last conversation with him on Instagram Stories.

Mahvash revealed that she had spoken to Anunay just two days earlier. According to her post, he had sent her a voice note from Las Vegas, where he was attending Concours at Wynn, a luxury automotive showcase featuring rare and classic cars. She wrote, “Anunay, my heart is sinking. We were just planning an F1 trip a few days back. I heard your voice note again… still unable to process it.”

She added a reflective message urging people to be kinder to one another, saying, “No one knows what can happen in anyone’s life. Please be good to everyone. When you leave, may people remember you the way they remember Anunay — only for the good.”

Shortly after, Shivani Parihar, a Jaipur-based actress and Anunay’s rumoured partner, also posted a heartfelt tribute. In her message, she described him as her “safe place” and said she was struggling to accept the reality of his absence. “One moment, we were planning our forever, and now I’m trying to understand how to live without you,” she wrote. The post was later deleted from her feed, though she reshared it on her Instagram story.

An official announcement was made through Sood’s Instagram handle, confirming his passing and requesting privacy.

“It is with deep sadness that we share the news of our beloved Anunay Sood’s passing. We kindly ask for your understanding and privacy as we navigate this difficult time,” the statement read.

A widely followed travel creator, Anunay had over 1.4 million Instagram followers and 380,000 subscribers on YouTube. His vlogs and photography stood out for their scenic visuals and calm storytelling. He was featured in Forbes India’s Top 100 Digital Stars list for three consecutive years (2022–2024) and also ran a digital marketing firm.

His sudden passing has sparked conversations online about unpredictability, mental well-being, and cherishing relationships while there is still time.
