Kapil Sharma has reunited with his friend-turned-foe-turned-friend again Sunil Grover in “The Great Indian Kapil Show” after a gap of 7 years.
Kapil and Sunil are winning praises for their camaraderie on the show. Sunil is reprising his role of Guththi in the show once again. Fans have always showered Sunil with love whenever he has donned the role of Guththi.
Now the two comedians were off to someplace for the promotions of their show, and Kapil Sharma shared a picture of them inside the Vistara flight but wrote the caption, “Don’t worry guys, it’s a small flight.” He was hinting at the infamous flight between him and Sunil, which led to the end of their friendship.
Their friend and former cricketer Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Arti Chabaria, and many others dropped laughing emojis on the post.
Take a look at the post:
For the uninitiated, Kapil and Sunil were involved in a fight on the flight from Australia to India. There were reports that Kapil had hurled a shoe at Sunil. After that fight, Sunil cut all ties with the comedian and quit his show, “The Kapil Sharma Show,” in 2017.
But recently, during the promotions of their new show, both Sunil and Kapil played down the controversy, and in one of the interviews with Lallantop, Sunil downplayed their infamous fight and dismissed it as a mere “publicity stunt.” “This was a publicity stunt for six years for this show."
The show's first guests were the Kapoor siblings, Ranbir and Riddhima, with their mother and veteran actress Neetu Kapoor. The trio spoke about the late Rishi Kapoor, Ranbir's bond with his daughter Raha, and a few revelations from their bachpan.
In the episode, Sunil's character Guththi was also upset with Ranbir for having married Alia Bhatt.
In this Saturday's episode, cricketers Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer were seen on the show. The two had a ball of a time.
