On the professional front, Salman Khan is preparing for his upcoming film, Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, and Prateik Babbar, is scheduled for a grand release during Eid 2025.
Salman recently commenced an intensive 45-day shooting schedule for Sikandar in Mumbai, starting on August 26, 2024. The production team, led by Nadiadwala, has meticulously recreated various parts of Mumbai, investing over three months in set construction to ensure authenticity for the film's action and drama scenes.
Following the Mumbai schedule, the team will relocate to an Indian palace for an additional 15 to 20 days of filming, with plans to start this phase in November. Reports suggest that Khan’s role in Sikandar will feature a royal figure exuding both pride and arrogance.
Meanwhile, Prabhas has recently celebrated a massive success with Kalki 2898 AD, which has shattered box office records, earning over Rs 1100 crores globally. The film, which includes a stellar cast such as Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan, is set for a sequel that will further explore Kamal Haasan’s character and his hidden ambitions, as confirmed by director Nag Ashwin.
