Not Sharvari but Kriti Sanon likely to replace Kiara Advani as female lead in Don 3: Report

According to Pinkvilla report, Kriti Sanon is likely to come on board of Don 3 to replace Kiara Advani, to star opposite Ranveer Singh.

Kiara Advani who was initially set to play female lead in Farhan Akhtar directorial Don 3 backed out of the project recently after due to her pregnancy. After earlier reports that Sharavari joining the cast, latest report state that another actress is set to play the female lead.

According to Pinkvilla report, Kriti Sanon is likely to come on board of Don 3 to replace Kiara Advani, to star opposite Ranveer Singh.

A source as cited by Pinkvilla stated, “Farhan Akhtar and the creative team of Excel Entertainment were looking to cast an experienced actress with a screen presence on board Don 3, and Kriti Sanon fits the bill like hand in glove. She has the aura to play Roma on screen, and is excited to sign the dotted lines soon."

However, neither the makers nor the actress have confirmed the reports till now.

According to the report, Farhan Akhtar has completed a significant portion of the location scouting for Don 3 and is expected to begin coordinating action sequences with an international stunt team soon.

A source revealed that most of the film would be shot in Europe, with locations already finalized and the script locked, requiring only minor refinements alongside action design. Pre-production is set to continue over the coming months, with plans to begin filming by October or November 2025.

On the work front, Kriti Sanon was last seen in Do Patti alongside Kajol. She also has a lineup of projects including Anand L Rai's directorial Tere Ishq Mein, opposite Dhanush and Cocktail 2 by producer Dinesh Vijan.
