The latest episode of Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent has once again landed the show in controversy, this time due to a crude remark made by popular YouTuber and podcast host Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps. The incident has sparked significant backlash, with many netizens now demanding the show's immediate cancellation.
The controversy surrounding India’s Got Latent continues to escalate, adding to the show's mounting troubles. Already under scrutiny for weeks, the latest uproar stems from an inappropriate remark by BeerBiceps, which has only fueled public outrage and intensified calls for its cancellation.
During an interaction with contestant Jessy Nabam, BeerBiceps posed a highly controversial question, asking whether they would rather witness their parents having sex for the rest of their lives or participate once to put an end to it. The shocking nature of the question left even host Samay Raina momentarily stunned, despite his own reputation for dark humour.
The remark faced widespread criticism for its vulgarity, sparking a wave of reactions across social media. One netizen wrote on X, "This crap show should end. Sex jokes, vulgar language, racism, North South hate etc is being showing in the name of Dark humour. Ban India's Got Latent." Another X user said, "This ' India's Got Latent' has been normalizing abuse , sexual objectification , hatred in the name of humour and Comedy."
