Throwback: When BTS' Jin’s thoughtful gesture towards his pregnant sister-in-law won hearts

BTS' Jin is currently serving his term in the military as a part of mandatory duty for boys in South Korea.

BTS's Jin captured the hearts of fans worldwide with his exemplary display of kindness and consideration towards his pregnant sister-in-law. In a heartwarming gesture that epitomises the essence of a true gentleman, Jin's actions resonated deeply with fans.

The heartwarming story began when Jin's sister-in-law shared her experience of being pregnant and dealing with morning sickness. Despite his hectic schedule and busy lifestyle as a member of BTS, Jin took the time to visit his sister-in-law and personally deliver a thoughtful gift to help alleviate her discomfort.

As Jin visited his uncle's strawberry farm, he picked up lots of strawberries for his fellow BTS members and also for his pregnant sister-in-law. His older brother Kim Seok Jung posted a picture of some strawberries on social media, saying that a “very precious someone” sent them. He further revealed that his pregnant wife, Ah Reum was craving strawberries. So, Jin delivered them to her himself!

"Because a pregnant woman wanted to eat these, a very precious person personally delivered the strawberries themselves. So freaking delicious!!" wrote Jin's brother Kim Seok Jung.

Jin's gesture did not go unnoticed by fans, who were quick to commend him for his kindness and thoughtfulness. The story quickly went viral on social media, with fans praising Jin for his behaviour and expressing admiration for his genuine concern for his family members.

Jin was also asked to name the baby of Kim Seok Jung and Ah Reum. When Seok Jung announced their pregnancy on Instagram, Ah Reum commented with a buttered pancake emoji and wrote, “Butter-yah, please grow up healthily.” This left fans wondering if that was what they had decided to name the baby.

In the latest, Jin is currently serving his term in the military as a part of mandatory duty for boys in South Korea. He will be discharged in June this year.
