Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan will be seen sharing screen space with the OG ‘Manjulika’, Vidya Balan, for the first time in the third installment of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ directed by Anees Bazmee. Kartik, who is already shooting for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, was seen at the screening of Vidya’s latest movie ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ in Mumbai.t
The two hugged each other. Kartik praised Vidya for looking so pretty, and he said, ‘Kya lag rahi ho aap." She immediately pulled his cheeks playfully and thanked him.
Kartik was seen with director Anees Bazmee, and the trio also posed for pictures.
Vidya Balan was in the first installment of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ (2007), which had Akshay Kumar and Shiny Doshi. The film was directed by Priyadarshan.
Kartik also met with Vidya’s co-star from the movie ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar', Pratik Gandhi.
Fans can’t wait to see the duo together in the movie. ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ had Kiara Advani and Tabu, whereas this time Triptii Dimri and Vidya Balan will join Kartik Aaryan. Kartik will reprise his role of Rooh Baba.
Kartik was recently in Kolkata for the movie’s shoot, and he was seen at the iconic Howrah Bridge. Several videos and photos of the actor had gone viral in the city.
There are also reports that Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit will have a dance off on ‘Ami Je Tomar’ in the movie. This is one song that has defined the ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ franchise. Reports also suggest that Kartik might join the dancing divas in this dance off.
‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ was a massive hit last year and Kartik had told Neha Dhupia in her show that he was told by so many people that the film would not work at the box office but he believed in it from the word go.
“I believed in the film a lot. Since the day it was announced, everyone would only tell me, ‘This film is not going to work,” he said.
Kartik will be seen in Kabir Khan’s sports biopic ‘Chandu Champion.’
