Nawazuddin Siddiqui, renowned for his powerful performances in Bollywood hits like 'Gangs of Wasseypur', is once again embroiled in a family controversy. His elder brother, Ayazuddin Siddiqui, has been arrested by the Budhana police in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, on charges of forgery.

According to PTI, Ayazuddin allegedly issued a fraudulent order letter to the consolidation department, purportedly on behalf of the District Magistrate's court, related to an ongoing land dispute with Javed Iqbal. The fraudulent nature of the order was discovered, prompting a complaint by the District Magistrate. Subsequently, a case was registered against Ayazuddin and Javed under sections 420, 467, 468, and 471 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) in March 2024.

Defending himself, Ayazuddin stated, "A man posted a derogatory pic of Lord Shiva. I confronted him and wrote that such posts shouldn't be shared as they can hurt religious sentiments. Instead, a case was filed against me. The charges should be investigated."

Nawazuddin Siddiqui himself has been no stranger to personal strife, particularly regarding his turbulent marriage with his wife, Aaliya Siddiqui. In May 2020, Aaliya sent a divorce notice to Nawazuddin, citing long-standing marital issues and accusing his brother Shamas of violence. However, in a surprising turn of events, Aaliya recently decided to withdraw her divorce notice, expressing a desire to reconcile. She told E-Times, "When we shared bad things with the world, we should also share the good ones. Nawaz was also here, so we celebrated our anniversary with the kids." She further explained, "The problems we faced were always because of a third person. Now that the misunderstanding is out of our lives, we’ve decided to stay together for the sake of our children."

Despite the ongoing family turmoil, Nawazuddin Siddiqui continues to make significant strides in his professional career. He is set to appear alongside Arbaaz Khan and Regina Cassandra in the film 'Section 108'. Additionally, he has several other projects lined up, including 'Adbhut'.
