The upcoming movie 'Kalki 2898 AD' has already stirred up excitement with its recent teaser, featuring the legendary Amitabh Bachchan. In this science-fiction saga, Big B's appearance as Ashwatthama had fans buzzing on social media.

Word on the street is that Amitabh Bachchan’s pay cheque for his part in this epic film is quite hefty. If the rumour mill is to be believed, he's pocketed a cool Rs 18 crore for his role. Considering the movie's budget is a massive Rs 600 crore, it seems the producers aren't shy about spending big on talent.

Big B took to Instagram to share his thoughts on working in 'Kalki 2898 AD', stating, “It’s been an experience for me like no other. The mind to think such a product, the execution, the exposure to modern technology, and above all, the company of colleagues with stratospheric Superstar presence.”

Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film features a line-up of cinema giants, with Prabhas taking the lead. The cast is rounded out with heavy-hitters like Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. The release date is set for June 20, 2024, and it's expected to be a worldwide affair.

As 'Kalki 2898 AD' gears up for its big release, all eyes will be on how this ambitious project unfolds, and if it lives up to the grand vision promised by its teaser and its stellar ensemble.
