In "Toofan," Farhan portrays Aziz Ali, an orphaned extortionist turned boxer, whose journey from the streets of Dongri to the boxing ring is both inspirational and compelling. Farhan immersed himself fully in this role, dedicating two hours daily to boxing practice. Over the course of five to six months, he mastered the fundamental skills and techniques essential to the sport. This rigorous preparation wasn't just for the screen; it was about authentically becoming a boxer.

In a behind-the-scenes mini-documentary, Farhan shares, "We didn't train for a film, we trained to be a boxer." He further elaborates, "Roughly about five to six months were spent learning the ABCs, techniques, and physically preparing myself. We did train for a film. We trained to be a boxer."

The film, produced by Excel Entertainment, also stars Paresh Rawal, Mrunal Thakur, and Hussain Dalal. It tells the story of Aziz Ali, who, after a life of crime, finds himself at a crossroads when he meets Dr. Ananya Prabhu, played by Mrunal Thakur. Her criticism of his lifestyle sparks a transformation in him, leading him to the world of boxing. The film received a warm reception from streaming audiences, with Farhan's performance earning particular acclaim.
