Australian cricketer David Warner has captivated fans once again, this time by channeling his inner Pushpa Raj in a new advertisement. The ad has not only impressed fans but also garnered a reaction from the original Pushpa himself, Allu Arjun.

David Warner, known for his playful and engaging personality, took to Instagram to share the ad where he embodies Allu Arjun’s iconic character from the Pushpa franchise. In the advertisement, Warner promotes India’s first-ever mattress temperature controller for Wakefit. The ad has sparked a wave of enthusiasm among fans. Allu Arjun, reacting to Warner's performance, dropped a series of laughing, thumbs-up, and fire emojis in the comments section. Fans, equally impressed, left a flurry of comments praising Warner’s portrayal. One fan wrote, "He is not Australian." Another commented, "David Australian (cross emoji), Indian (tick emoji)." Another fan humorously remarked, "Born in Australia by mistake." The flood of comments included titles like "David Warner is half-Indian, half-Australian" and nicknames like "Devendra Varma." Some even said, "Bro is full-time Pushpa!!! Part-time Aussie batter."

This is not the first time David Warner has shown his appreciation for the Pushpa series. Earlier this year, he expressed his excitement for the teaser of Sukumar's Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna. A few years ago, Warner had superimposed his face on Allu Arjun's in a scene from Pushpa: The Rise, which had already delighted fans.

Pushpa 2: The Rule is highly anticipated by fans of the first film, Pushpa: The Rise. Directed by Sukumar, the sequel will see Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna reprising their roles as Pushpa Raj and Srivalli. Fahadh Faasil is also set to play a police officer named Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. The first film was a significant hit in 2021, and the sequel is expected to follow in its footsteps.

The popularity of the Pushpa franchise and its characters has clearly crossed borders, with Warner’s enthusiastic portrayal bringing the character to life in a fun and engaging way. This crossover of sports and cinema has created a delightful fusion that resonates well with fans of both fields. David Warner’s engaging and humorous take on Pushpa Raj not only pays homage to the beloved character but also showcases the universal appeal of Indian cinema.

The response to the ad has been overwhelmingly positive, further cementing Warner’s status as a fan favorite both on and off the cricket field. His ability to connect with audiences through such creative and entertaining means highlights his versatility and charm.
