Actress Aishwarya Arjun married Umapathy Ramaiah on June 10 in a ceremony held at her family's farmhouse in Chennai. The couple took taking traditional pheras and exchanging vows surrounded by family and friends.

Actress Aishwarya Arjun tied the knot with Umapathy Ramaiah in Chennai on June 10. The wedding ceremony that took place at the bride, Aishwarya Arjun’s family farmhouse in Chennai.

The father of the bride Arjun Sarja is renowned as the ‘Action King’ of the South. The couple incidentally met on the reality show ‘Survivor’ hosted by Arjun.

Aishwarya will soon be seen in her Telugu debut movie, stepping into a new realm with a role that showcases her versatility. Umapathy recently debuted as a director with ‘Rajakili’ and is now planning his next directorial movie.

To mark their wedding vows, Aishwarya Arjun and Umapathy Ramaiah took their pheras around the sacred fire, exchanged vows and celebrated their love in the most authentic way possible, surrounded by family and close friends.

Aishwarya wore an exquisite red Kanchivaram saree, which is her favourite shade in a saree crafted by Gaurang Shah. It was intricately embroidered with scenes depicting the coronation ceremony of Lord Ram. Umapathy complemented in a traditional Panchakacham attire by Kanakavalli

The wedding was followed by a custom traditional menu curated by Madhampatty, inspired by the culinary heritage of the Cholla dynasty.

Drawing inspiration from "Nithya Vaibhavam”, the wedding decor celebrates Aishwarya and Umapathy's South Indian heritage.

Set in a Hanuman temple, solicitously built by Aishwarya’s dad, the decor tells the tale of Rama and Sita.

The decor included classic elements like Kanchipuram Silk Cushions, Athangudi Patterns, Terracotta centre pieces, brass Kuthuvilakkus, tender coconuts, Kolam motifs, Pookolam, hanging brass lamps, intricately designed and hand-painted panels, floral installations & thread work came together in a beautiful symphony to create a timeless backdrop as they tie the knot.

As they step into this new phase of life, Aishwarya gears up for her Telugu movie debut, while Umapathy plans his next directorial venture.
