Madharaasi OTT release: When and where to watch Sivakarthikeyan and Rukmini Vasanth starrer

A lot of people are discussing Madharaasi, Sivakarthikeyan's latest movie that came out in theaters on September 5, 2025. AR Murugadoss was in charge of directing it. This is the first time the big Tamil star and the famous director had worked together, and a lot of people were really thrilled about it.

According to 123Telugu, Madharaasi is getting ready to make its digital debut. Four weeks after the movie hit the theatres, it will now be streaming on the streaming giant Amazon Prime Video from October 3, 2025. The movie will be available to stream in Telugu, Tamil, and other regional languages.

Box office collection

The movie did well at first, but its box office sales dropped in the second week. According to early statistics from Sacnilk.com, Madharaasi made Rs 0.23 crore on Day 13, bringing its total earnings in India to Rs 58.98 crore. Even though it didn't last very long, the movie's constant box office success and high reviews have kept it in the public eye.

The plot and the acting

The movie is about Raghu (Sivakarthikeyan), a man with Fregoli delusion, which is a rare mental illness that makes him imagine that people he doesn't know are family members who have died. When NIA officer Premnath hires him for a perilous job to take down a gun-smuggling network, everything changes for him.

The plot has an emotional element because Raghu used to date Malathi (Rukmini Vasanth), a singer and dental student. Their sad love story is what keeps the drama rolling.

Vidyut Jammwal is a brilliant bad guy, and Shabeer Kallarakkal and Vikranth help him out. Biju Menon also plays a big part in the plot.
