LE SSERAFIM took fans by surprise on September 28 when they dropped a quirky teaser video on their official channel ahead of the release of their first single SPAGHETTI, set to arrive on October 24 (KST).
The teaser, titled This Is the Tomato Incident, is about 48 seconds long and is backed by a dramatic violin concerto.
In the teaser video, members Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae strike exaggerated, eccentric poses in a grainy, self-camera style video that looks like it was shot in a hotel room.
At one point, the girls hold up plates of spaghetti, creating hilarious yet oddly artistic scenes.
With spaghetti taking center stage, fans have been speculating that the teaser is connected to the new track. Still, the unusual and unpredictable style has left everyone guessing about the actual concept. Many reactions online compared it to the group’s earlier work, with one fan saying, “It’s even more intense than CRAZY.”
A day later, on September 29 (KST), LE SSERAFIM officially confirmed the single SPAGHETTI on Weverse, teasing fans with the line, “An irresistible charm, like being tangled up in spaghetti.” The upcoming release will mark their first comeback in seven months since their fifth mini album HOT.

Promotions are set to begin on October 9 with a series of content titled EAT IT UP!. The music video teaser will be revealed on October 22, followed by the full single and music video release on October 24 at 1 PM KST.
Meanwhile, the group has just wrapped up their first world tour, EASY CRAZY HOT, which included 27 shows across 18 cities and drew huge crowds. They are now gearing up for their first encore concerts at Tokyo Dome on November 18 and 19.
