Actor Go Won-hee has confirmed that she and her husband have decided to end their marriage after two years together. The 31-year-old, known for her steady rise across television and streaming dramas, made the decision after what her agency described as long, thoughtful conversations between the couple.

In a statement released on the 25th, her agency Ghost Studio said Go had “decided to conclude her marriage early this year after careful consideration.” The note added that the marriage had never been legally registered, even though the two held a private wedding ceremony in 2022.

The agency further explained that the separation had come through mutual agreement rather than conflict. “Both parties decided to part ways following sufficient discussion,” the statement read. “As the decision was made with mutual respect, we sincerely request restraint in speculative reporting and the circulation of unverified information.” The firm emphasized that the couple hopes the public will allow them privacy as they step into the next phase of their lives separately.

King The Land actress Go Won-hee married an older businessman in October 2022 in a quiet, closed-door wedding attended only by close friends and family. Since the pair lived in what is often referred to in Korea as a factual marriage, or a marriage recognized socially but not legally, there will be no formal divorce proceedings. The absence of legal registration means their separation remains a personal matter rather than a court-governed one.

Go’s career began long before her brief marriage entered public attention. Born in 1994, she first appeared on screen in 2010 through a commercial for Our Chair. Three years later, she stepped into acting with the drama Court of Horror: The War of Flowers. From there, she built a diverse portfolio across genres, becoming a familiar face through roles in Shine Like a Star, Top Star, High Kick Waikiki, OK Kwang Sisters, and the globally recognized series Kingdom.

Despite the personal change, Go is expected to continue her work in upcoming projects. Her agency has made it clear that she wishes to focus on her career with minimal intrusion into her private life, signaling that she intends to move forward quietly and professionally.
