Comedian Kapil Sharma’s newly launched café, Kap’s Cafe, located in British Columbia, Canada, was recently targeted in a shocking gunfire incident on July 9. However, Kapil is now reopening his café.
Kapil took to his Instagram and shared, “WE’VE MISSED YOU AND ARE TRULY GRATEFUL FOR YOUR CONTINUED LOVE AND SUPPORT. WITH HEARTFELT THANKS, WE’RE OPENING OUR DOORS AGAIN – READY TO WELCOME YOU BACK WITH WARMTH, COMFORT, AND CARE. SEE YOU SOON.”
The café’s reopening came just a day after they started the home delivery services. Kapil co-owns the café with his wife, Ginni Chatrath. She re-shared the post on her Instagram Story, informing her viewers about the same.
For the unversed, Kapil and Ginni’s newly launched café in Surrey, British Columbia, was recently attacked in what authorities believe was a targeted incident. The attack is reportedly linked to the Laddi gang, which is suspected of having connections to the banned Khalistani terrorist group Babbar Khalsa International (BKI).
Kap’s Cafe recently had its soft launch. It drew attention for its charming pink-and-white décor, floral-themed interiors, and a menu of artisan coffee and desserts. Unfortunately, the festive atmosphere soon turned sour when someone vandalised the café late Sunday night.
However, no injuries were reported, but the property did sustain damage in the attack.
