Jr NTR fans vandalize Telangana theatre over Devara Part 1 delayed screening

Chaos erupted at Venkateshwara Theatre in Palwancha, Bhadradri Kothagudem district, as fans of Jr NTR vandalized the premises following a delay in the screening of Devara: Part 1.

The much-anticipated film, released on today (September 27), faced technical difficulties before the screening, which frustrated the fans who had eagerly gathered to watch their favorite star in action.

As the delay extended, the agitated crowd became unruly, leading to significant damage to the theatre’s property. Furniture was broken, and various parts of the premises were vandalized in protest.

The disturbance resulted in several injuries, forcing the theatre management to call in the police. Officers swiftly intervened to control the situation and restore order.

Despite the disruption, the police managed to calm the angry crowd once the technical issues were resolved and the screening commenced. Fortunately, no major incidents followed after the film started, and the situation returned to normal.

The theatre management issued an apology to the public for the inconvenience caused by the unexpected technical problems. They assured fans that all future screenings of Devara: Part 1 would proceed without interruptions. Additionally, to prevent further issues, police presence around the theatre has been significantly increased.

The management has also promised to take extra precautions to ensure that such incidents do not occur again and that the cinema experience is smooth and peaceful for all attendees.

Devara: Part 1, directed by Koratala Siva, has garnered significant attention due to its star-studded cast. The film features Jr NTR in a powerful dual role, marking his 30th film in the Telugu industry. Additionally, it serves as the Telugu debut for Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. Saif plays the menacing antagonist Bhairava, while Janhvi portrays Jr NTR’s love interest.

The film also stars Prakash Raj, Srikanth, and Shruti Marathe, among others. Despite the initial disruption at the theatre, the movie has been receiving positive reviews and high praise for its performances and storyline, promising a successful run ahead.
