Firms owned by veteran Bollywood actor Jeetendra Kapoor and his family have sold a prime land parcel in Andheri, Mumbai, for a staggering Rs. 855 crore. The sale, executed by Pantheon Buildcon Private Limited and Tusshar Infra Developers Private Limited, was registered in May 2025, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards on the website of the Inspector General of Registration (IGR).
The acquired property, strategically located in Andheri, encompasses two contiguous land parcels totaling 9,664.68 sq. m. (approximately 0.96 hectares or 2.39 acres). The site currently hosts the Balaji IT Park and includes three existing buildings with a cumulative built-up area of 45,572.14 sq. m. (approximately 4,90,534 sq. ft.). The transaction incurred a stamp duty of Rs. 8.69 crore and registration charges of Rs. 30,000.
The buyer in this high-value deal is NTT Global Data Centers & Cloud Infrastructure India Private Limited, formerly known as Netmagic IT Services Private Limited. NTT Global Data Centers specializes in a comprehensive suite of services, including public and private cloud solutions, hosting, data management, application development, threat monitoring, content delivery networks, and testing services, catering to a global clientele. This acquisition suggests a strategic expansion for NTT Global Data Centers in a key business hub.
Andheri’s appeal as a real estate hotspot is undeniable. Its strategic positioning between Mumbai’s prominent business districts and entertainment zones, coupled with excellent connectivity through the Western Express Highway, Link Road, SV Road, and the Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar Metro line, has fostered its evolution into a dynamic commercial and residential destination. The area boasts a vibrant mix of modern office complexes, co-working spaces, upscale retail outlets, entertainment centers, and premium residential developments, making it a highly sought-after location for both businesses and residents.
