Taking to her Instagram Stories on Monday, May 19, Janhvi shared a delightful snapshot that captured both her enthusiasm and her sweet tooth.

The image showed a delicious pancake that was heavily covered in chocolate, and the plate itself tastefully displayed the words, "Cannes ready? T-1 Day," written in chocolate.

A day before that, Janhvi's boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya was spotted spending time with her sister Khushi Kapoor, Karan Johar and Orry aka Orhan Awatramani in Cannes. The group kept it laid-back, enjoying a relaxed day together in casual wear.

Homebound, directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, has secured a coveted spot in this year’s Un Certain Regard section at Cannes. The film stars Ishaan Khatter, Janhvi Kapoor, and Vishal Jethwa in a heartfelt story of childhood friends reconnecting in a North Indian village.

Karan Johar, who is one of the producers of Homebound, also posted a photo from Cannes wearing a peach checkered suit with a black shirt. He captioned the photo, “Yes we Cannes! Day 1.” Ishaan also shared glimpses as he explores the French Rivera ahead of the screening of the film.
