With its music that continues to enthrall fans worldwide, the Pushpa franchise, which stars Allu Arjun, most popular song Oo Antava has been nothing short of a cultural phenomenon. However, one of its most famous songs is currently the subject of controversy.

Composer Devi Sri Prasad, better known by his stage name DSP, asserted at a recent event that a Turkish artist had plagiarized Oo Antava, the popular song from Pushpa: The Rise, which featured Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

Atiye, a Turkish pop star, is accused of copying Oo Antava. DSP claims that the song "Anlayana" by Turkish pop singer Atiye is so similar to "Oo Antava" that he views it as a direct copy. "You've all enjoyed Oo Antava from Pushpa," he told the media. However, the song has now been translated into Turkish. We could refer to the version sung by Atiye as a plain copy because it is so similar to ours.

When Oo Antava was released, it immediately became popular due to its sultry atmosphere and daring choreography. The song gained a cult following in India and overseas thanks to Samantha's surprising appearance and the mesmerizing beats that DSP created.

DSP expressed disappointment over the lack of credit or authorization, even though he acknowledged that the alleged plagiarism is a sign of Telugu music's growing international influence.

"I'm considering bringing legal action against them. However, I'm also pleased that our Telugu song has become so well-known throughout the world," he continued.
