Popular singer and songwriter Britney Spears again made headlines over her social media activity. Fans noticed that the singer's profile was unavailable on Sunday, November 2.
The message "The link may be broken, or the profile may have been removed" appears when fans try to access her Instagram page.
However, currently it’s unclear if the singer deactivated her account temporarily or permanently. Meanwhile, her TikTok and X accounts are still active. Britney's disappearance from the platform came after a public argument with Kevin Federline, her ex-husband and the father of her two adult children.
Kevin’s memoir, ‘You Thought You Knew,’ which was published in October, details the beginning and conclusion of his three-year marriage to Britney, 43, as well as their divorce and custody dispute.
In a series of social media posts, Britney retaliated, claiming that she was humiliated by him and that he had spread "white lies" in his book, such as the claim that their kids were scared to stay at her house because she would stand in front of their doorways with a knife while they slept.
The songstress took to her X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “The constant gaslighting from (my) ex-husband is extremely hurtful and exhausting. I have always pleaded and screamed to have a life with my boys.”

On October 15, the singer stated that their sons, Jayden, 19, and Preston, 20, had long seen Kevin treat her disrespectfully, and that "they need to take responsibility for themselves."
She wrote, "Trust me, those white lies in that book, they are going straight to the bank and I am the only one who genuinely gets hurt here. I will always love them and if you really know me, you won't pay attention to the tabloids of my mental health and drinking.”
Britney deleted her Instagram account following years of public outrage and defence over her social media presence, dance videos, including ones involving knives, and occasionally strange and incomprehensible captions. Fans were particularly alarmed by a TikTok video posted on October 9th, which showed a wrap on the singer's knee and a bruise on her arm.
