This year’s Outstanding Lead Actress category was particularly competitive, with nominees including Kristen Wiig (Palm Royal), Ayo Edebiri (The Bear), Quinta Brunson (Abbott Elementary), Maya Rudolph (Loot), and Selena Gomez (Only Murders in the Building). Despite the tough competition, Jean Smart’s performance once again stood out, solidifying her status as one of television’s most celebrated talents.
