South Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun is currently dealing with a series of allegations and accusations. However, the actor’s controversies seem to put his high-profile career at stake. The actor was set to star in the upcoming Disney+ K-drama Knock Off.
According to the latest reports by Sports TV News, the production of the upcoming K-drama starring Kim Soo Hyun has been put on halt amid the late actress Kim Sae Ron’s dating scandal.
The reports have suggested that a major production was scheduled for April 2025 but now the future of the upcoming series is uncertain with the makers having cast doubt. However, Disney+ is not the only platform that is having second thoughts about the actor amid swirling controversy.
Kim Soo Hyun starrer G-Dragon's Good Day episode 6, which was scheduled to premiere on March 23, has also been postponed. Additionally, several brands including Prada, and Dinto, among others have notably ended their collaborations with Kim Soo Hyun.
Kim Soo Hyun has been in the headlines after he was accused of being involved in an alleged underage dating scandal involving the late actress Kim Sae Ron, who died this year at the age of 24.

Kim Sae Ron was found dead at her home on February 16, which also marks Kim Soo Hyun's birthday. The police later confirmed her death as a suicide.
For the unaware, Disney+ series Knock Off is a dark comedy-crime drama that follows Kim Sung Joon, played by Kim Soo Hyun, as he transforms from a regular office worker to a leader in the counterfeit goods market.
The plot revolves around the 1997 Asian financial crisis and shows how Sung Joon's life changes in unexpected ways. The series also stars Jo Bo Ah as Song Hye Jung, Sung Joon's ex-girlfriend and a special judicial officer.
