Dipika Kakar diagnosed with 'tennis ball size' tumor in her liver, informs husband Shoaib Ibrahim

TV actress Dipika Kakar, who was recently seen in Celebrity MasterChef India, has been diagnosed with a tennis ball size tumour in her liver.

Dipika’s husband and actor, Shoaib Ibrahim, informed their fans and followers in his latest vlog that his wife has tumour in her liver.

In the vlog, Shoaib said,"Dipika theek nahi hai, thoda sa usko stomach mein problem hai joh severe hai. Dipika began experiencing stomach ache when I was in Chandigarh, and we originally assumed it was caused by acidity, so she treated it as such. But when the ache didn't go away, she saw our family doctor, who had treated our father. He gave her antibiotics and instructed her to get blood tests done. Then she was on antibiotics until May 5th, and when I returned, she was great. Then, following Papa's birthday, she began to experience discomfort again, and in the meanwhile, blood test results revealed that she had an infection."

"Our doctor advised us to return, and when we did, he asked to get a CT scan, which revealed that Dipika had a tumor in the left lobe of her liver. It is the size of a tennis ball or larger. It was quite frightening for us," he added.

The Sasural Simar Ka actor further said that the doctors had asked Dipika to be admitted to the hospital for further treatment.

He went on to say that the biggest issue was if it was a malignant tumor, but first findings indicate that it is not. According to Shoaib, while the CT scan revealed a benign tumor, a critical test report will be released today (Friday).

Dipika will undergo surgery to remove the tumour from her liver. Further medical treatments are anticipated to be determined once the actress consults with a liver specialist.

Shoaib said he was concerned about Dipika's health, as well as the fact that their son, Ruhaan, is not used to being apart from his mother for extended periods of time. The actor asked his followers pray for her well-being and keep negativity at away.
