Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh is going to make his MET Gala 2025 debut in a few hours from now and the actor has been teasing fans with what's in store.
But the 'Born To Shine' singer, who is known for his humor, wrote that he is still figuring out what to wear for the gala event in his true hilarious style.
He wrote in his story: MET Gala, ki paiye fer.' (What should I wear then?)
There are reports that Diljit Dosanjh is going to make his MET Gala debut by wearing an outfit by ace designer Prabal Gurung.
Diljit Dosanjh will join the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Kiara Advani, and Isha Ambani this year at the red carpet event.
He shared a video with his fun commentary in Punjabi and in one of the video clips, Diljit showed the invitation card from the MET Gala.
He then, in his hilarious style, says, I have received many wedding cards from relatives but this one is special. He then also reads out the names of the guests and hosts.
He also showed fans the goodies he received from the organizers. Later he shared a post in which he asked fans for suggestions for his outfit and wrote, “MET Gala. Ki Paiye Fer” (What should I wear?)
In the video, Diljit also read a note that mentioned that the use of cell phones and recording devices inside the museum is strictly prohibited throughout the evening.
The card also read, “Superfine: Tailoring black style. Monday, the Fifth of May, at half after five o’clock. Dress code: Tailored for you.”
In the last clip, Diljit thanked the organizers for sending champagne but he said since there’s no one to drink them, they are just melting away.
He also thanked the organizers for taking good care of them.
