According to a video going viral on the internet, Deepika Padukone was seen greeting Kartik at the event with a warm hug and they started chit chatting with happy faces.

Deepika Padukone recently made her second public appearance after becoming a mother and joined other celebrities including Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan at an event in Mumbai.

For the event, Deepika picked a black outfit featuring golden embroidery on the front. She teamed it with an equally embellished bright red dupatta. A pair of dangler earrings accessorised her look. While subtle makeup and a middle-parted sleek braided hairdo rounded off her charm. On the other hand, Kartik kept it casual and opted for denim pants and a jacket layered with a black T-shirt. Meanwhile, Jackie Shroff picked a shiny white blazer, a matching shirt and a pair of jean, while Anil Kapoor sported an all-black look.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh joyfully welcomed their first child, a daughter named Dua, on September 8, 2024.
