Kapil Sharma, Remo D'Souza, Sugandha Mishra, and Rajpal Yadav, four well-known celebrities, recently received death threats through email. The police have confirmed they are investigating the case seriously and have already traced the email's IP address to Pakistan. Because the case involves an international element, authorities are considering transferring the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for further action.
An FIR (First Information Report) has been registered at the Amboli Police Station against an unidentified person under the Bombay Police Act. The investigation is still ongoing, with police working to identify the sender of the email. Senior Police Inspector Sadashiv Nikam mentioned that the authorities are treating this as a very serious matter. While the person who sent the email identified themselves as "Bishnu," it is still unclear whether this is a real name or someone hiding their identity.
The case started when Rajpal Yadav filed a complaint in December after receiving the threat. Soon after, Kapil Sharma and his team also received similar threats. The authorities then worked together with cyber police to trace the source of the emails. They discovered that the IP address leading to the threat was located in Pakistan. However, since obtaining information from Pakistan is difficult, this has made the investigation more complex and time-consuming.

Sadashiv Nikam explained that the police are in contact with zonal officers and have shared the details with the CBI, though they are not yet directly involved. The investigation is still in the early stages, and police are committed to finding out who is behind the threatening emails. In addition to Kapil Sharma and Rajpal Yadav, Sugandha Mishra and Remo D'Souza also received similar threats, and their cases are being handled by the Oshiwara police station.
The email received by these celebrities warned them about their personal and professional lives, urging them to take the message seriously. The sender demanded a response within 8 hours and threatened consequences if they did not comply. The police are working hard to ensure the safety of the celebrities and bring the person responsible for these threats to justice.
