Coolie trailer: Rajinikanth back in action avatar, Aamir Khan and Nagarjuna’s appearances remain the highlights

At a spectacular audio launch event held at Chennai's Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium on Saturday, the highly anticipated trailer for superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming movie Coolie was finally released, ending fans' wait. On August 14, just in time for the Independence Day weekend, the film, which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is scheduled to be released in theaters.

A Starry Launch and a Powerful Trailer

Several well-known figures from Indian cinema attended the launch event, which evolved into a full-fledged celebration. The appearance of Aamir Khan, who plays Dahaa in the movie, was one of the highlights. Nagarjuna Akkineni, Pooja Hegde, Shruti Haasan, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, and Sathyaraj are among the film's star-studded cast members.

Songs That Have Already Been Popular

Two songs from the movie, "Chikitu" and "Monica," were released by the producers prior to the trailer's release, and both have been well received by viewers. The excitement surrounding the movie has grown as Monica has surpassed 48 million views on YouTube, while Chikitu has amassed over 21 million views.

Behind the Scenes

Anirudh Ravichander, who reunited with Rajinikanth following the 2023 blockbuster Jailer, composed the music for Coolie, which was produced by Sun Pictures. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) gave the movie an "A" certificate, indicating that it will contain intense scenes and fast-paced action.
