Social media content creator Atheist Krishna, widely known for his humorous and viral content, sadly passed away on July 23, 2025. He was 28.

Fans and followers are devastated by his sudden passing. Krishna was incredibly popular online, and well-known people like Prime Minister Narendra Modi and actor Akshay Kumar even praised his work.

A user on X (formerly Twitter) going by the handle @nainaverse posted screenshots of a WhatsApp conversation with Krishna's brother, confirming the news of his passing, according to an NDTV report. According to the conversation, Krishna had been dealing with a severe medical condition that caused water to build up in his lungs..

The screenshots also included Krishna's last chat with Naina, dated July 10, in which he sent her a photo from the hospital. In response, Naina had encouraged him by saying, “Sab theek ho jayega. Stay strong.”

On July 22, she enquired about his health once more but got no response. At that point, her brother replied that Krishna had died of pneumonia at 4:30 in the morning.

Back in 2019, Atheist Krishn uploaded a video of actor Akshay Kumar praising him. Krishna shared the video and wrote, "WOOOOOW!!!! This is the best thing that happened to me on Twitter. Thank you. @akshaykumar Sir." In the video, Akshay said, "Mere kuch dost hain jo tujhe jante hain, unhone bataya tere...kamal ka jo kaam krta hai tu...to bring smile on people's face." He further said that he showed one of the reels to our PM Narendra Modi. Akshay Kumar claimed, "He also (PM) had a hearty laugh..."

Several actors took to social media to express their sorrow over Atheist Krishna’s untimely demise, with actress Rupali Ganguly being one of them.
