BTS member Kim Taehyung, better known by his stage name V, has accomplished yet another noteworthy feat, this time while serving in the military.

The internationally beloved K-pop sensation received an incredible 4.5 million messages from fans during his enlistment, making him the most messaged Korean celebrity through the official Goondori app, even though he had been out of the spotlight for 18 months.

Goondori, a platform used by South Korean soldiers and their supporters to stay connected, allows fans to send messages and cheers to their favourite celebrities. V's exceptional total places him at the very top, surpassing not just his BTS bandmates but all other celebrities listed on the app. This feat highlights the unwavering affection and admiration fans hold for the Layover singer.

According to the app’s final rankings, V not only secured the most cumulative cheers but also recorded the highest single-day interactions. He outpaced fellow BTS members Jimin and Jungkook, who received 2.7 and 2.5 million messages respectively. NCT’s Taeyong followed with 1.8 million, while BTS’s Suga and RM garnered 1.7 and 1.2 million each. SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan completed the top seven with 1.2 million messages.

Taehyung’s fans flooded social media with congratulatory messages, reflecting the global fandom’s passion and devotion. One admirer wrote, “Kim Taehyung was born to be loved because wherever he goes, whoever he meets, people fall in love with him.”
