BTS' V delights fans with new updates from military service - view pics

On May 19, V made a rare return to Instagram, updating his profile with new stories.

V is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service, a commitment that all South Korean men must undertake. As an active-duty soldier, it's not always possible for the 'Winter Bear' singer to stay connected with fans. However, V recently delighted fans by sharing a new Instagram story, providing a glimpse into his current life.

On May 19, V made a rare return to Instagram, updating his profile with new stories. One of these stories featured photos with his military friends, accompanied by the caption “status” (current situation). In the photos, V showcases his natural charm, even in a military uniform.

In addition to his military photos, V also shared a story of his beloved pet Pomeranian, Yeontan, affectionately known as Tan. Fans were thrilled to see an update from their favourite K-pop idol, who will continue his military service for some time.

V's enlistment began on December 11, 2023, when he joined the military
along with BTS leader RM. The next day, bandmates Jimin and Jungkook
also enlisted. The remaining BTS members, Jin, SUGA, and J-Hope, are
also fulfilling their military duties, with Jin scheduled for discharge in June 2024. V is currently serving in the 2nd Division Military Police Corps after completing his initial training.

While V is away from the public eye, he continues to connect with fans through his music. On March 15, 2024, he released a new digital single
titled 'FRI(END)S.' The song quickly became a fan favourite, topping various prestigious music charts. Its innovative concept and thoughtful lyrics about love, friendship, and solitude resonated deeply with listeners.

Fans are proud of V's achievements in the military and eagerly anticipate his return. The expectation is that he will reunite with the other BTS members by June 10, 2025.
