BTS members among the top 10 most followed K-POP artists on Instagram

The account gained a huge following in the hours after going public, causing a stir among BTS fans and online users.

The BTS members continue to dominate the social media space, with their combined Instagram presence—spanning seven individual accounts and one official group handle—amassing hundreds of millions of followers.

The youngest member, Jungkook, most recently made news when he disclosed a hidden Instagram account with the username @mnijungkook. When Jungkook stated that he would like to participate in a three-way livestream with fellow members V and RM, the account—which was created back in January—came to light.

The account gained a huge following in the hours after going public, causing a stir among BTS fans and online users. Although it is still far from his previous 50 million follower record on his main account, Jungkook's new handle has already surpassed the 10.2 million mark in just a few weeks since the July 15 reveal.

The group's position as the most-followed K-pop celebrity has been confirmed by a 24-hour follower tracking report of all eight BTS-related accounts. The group's official account, @bts.bighitofficial, acquired more than 26,000 new followers in a single day, according to the most recent data.

Jungkook has a significant lead among individual members, gaining over 229,000 followers in a single day. Second place goes to V, who gained over 47,000 followers every day, and third place goes to Jimin, who gained over 35,000 new followers.

With more than 32,000 followers, Jin more than 30,700, and J-Hope about 30,200, SUGA, Jin, and J-Hope were also in strong positions, placing fourth, fifth, and sixth, respectively. In a single day, RM gained over 28,000 new followers thanks to his amusing dog profile picture, which helped him rank eighth.

Despite their individual projects and military enlistments, BTS remains a social media powerhouse. The group is currently stationed in the United States, working on their upcoming album, while continuing to captivate global audiences both online and offline.
