Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, once Hollywood's golden couple, continue to navigate the complexities of their divorce, which has stretched on for nearly eight years.
Despite their split, sources reveal that Pitt, harbors no ill will towards Jolie, as they both focus on their individual lives and careers.
Both stars recently attended the Venice Film Festival, albeit for separate projects. Jolie, with tears in her eyes, received an eight-minute standing ovation for her biopic Maria, which chronicles the life of opera singer Maria Callas.
During a press conference, Jolie, reflected on her connection with the iconic diva, saying she related to "the part of her that is extremely soft and didn’t have room in the world to be as soft as she truly was and as emotionally open as she truly was."
Three days later, after Jolie had moved on to the Telluride Film Festival, Pitt made his own splash in Venice. He arrived on the red carpet with his girlfriend of two years, Ines de Ramon, 34, to premiere his new thriller Wolfs.
Pitt, who has been in Europe filming his racing movie F1, joined longtime friend and co-star George Clooney for dinner the night before the premiere. The group, including Clooney’s wife Amal, dined at Ristorante da Ivo, where they shared lighthearted moments with fellow diners.
The couple’s appearances at the festival showcased their ability to maintain peace despite their ongoing legal battles. Jolie and Pitt, who were declared legally single in 2019, have yet to finalize their divorce, which has been marked by disputes over finances and the custody of their six children: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and 16-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

Adding to the tension is the ongoing legal fight over Château Miraval, the French villa and winery they purchased in 2012. The winery, known for its Miraval rosé, became a focal point in their divorce when Pitt accused Jolie of deliberately harming him by selling her stake to the Stoli Group.
Despite the turmoil, Pitt remains focused on enjoying life with those he loves, telling GQ, "The air is fresh, the grass is green, and I’ve just kind of become that guy a little bit."
Meanwhile, sources close to Jolie suggest that she finds the never-ending nature of their divorce "incredibly sad," as both continue to move forward in their own ways.
