Boney Kapoor shares new pic of Sridevi

Producer Boney Kapoor is remembering his beloved late wife and actor Sridevi. He has recently taken to his Instagram and shared a black and white throwback photo of the late actress.

The producer revealed in the caption that the photo was taken before their marriage. He penned, “Watching meeeee and smiling, this was before we got married.” In the pic, Sridevi looked stunning as she flashed a bright smile for the cameras.

Boney Kapoor and Sridevi tied the knot on 2 June 1996. The couple welcomed the first daughter, Janhvi Kapoor, in 1997 and second daughter, Khushi Kapoor, in 2000.

Boney Kapoor is also making headlines for his drastic weight loss. However, he has previously credited Sridevi for his physical transformation.

Last year during an interview with News18 Showsha, Boney Kapoor recalled how Sridevi would frequently encourage him to lead a healthier lifestyle while talking about his weight loss journey.

He shared, “The seeds were sown by my wife. She was always after me to lose weight. She was a health-conscious person herself. I used to go for a walk with her. I used to go to the gym with her.”

Boney Kapoor added emotionally, “I feel Sri is still around me, my wife is still around me and motivating me to lose weight. ‘Lose weight,’ she said. Doctor also said the same thing – You should lose weight before you think of doing a transplant. Here I am, I’ve lost some weight and I’ve got some hair back for some.”
