Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal, who will soon embrace fatherhood, has recently celebrated his mother Veena Kaushal’s birthday. The actor wished his mother on her birthday with a special social media post.

The actor took to his Instagram and shared a sweet picture with his mother. Alongside the photo, he penned in the caption, “Happy Birthday Maate [a red heart emoji].”

Netizens were amazed by Vicky's post. Actor Angad Bedi was unable to help but show the mother-son pair how much he loved the picture. He commented, “Maa nu khutt ke jhappi.. @vickykaushal09.”

However, Vicky is all set to start a new chapter in his life as a father. Soon, he and actor Katrina Kaif will welcome their first child together.

Vicky and Katrina released a joint statement in September announcing their pregnancy. The social media post reads, “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude.”

The two also posted a cute picture. In the picture, Vicky is seen tenderly holding Katrina's growing baby bump while the two are both wearing all-white clothing.

On December 9, 2021, Vicky and Katrina exchanged vows at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan. Katrina disclosed on "Koffee With Karan" that she first met Vicky at Zoya Akhtar's party, which is when their romance began to blossom.

On the work front, Vicky Kaushal was last seen in the blockbuster film, Chhavaa. The actor will next be seen in the highly anticipated Love & War. The film also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead.

The film will be a romantic drama with internal and external conflict as its backdrop.

The story is anticipated to be full of drama, music, and classic themes of love, grief, and redemption, all in keeping with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's aesthetic.

Love and War is scheduled to hit the theatres in March 2026.
