Shah Rukh Khan’s highly anticipated film King is shaping up to be one of the biggest cinematic events of the year. The film’s title reveal and first official poster were launched on SRK’s 60th birthday. Now, fresh details emerging from sources close to the production hint at an ambitious dual-timeline narrative.

According to India Today, King will unfold across two separate timelines, with Shah Rukh Khan portraying the same character at different stages of life. In the younger timeline, SRK is expected to square off against actor-dancer Raghav Juyal, who steps into the antagonist role. The narrative will then shift to an older phase, where SRK’s character reportedly goes head-to-head with Abhishek Bachchan in a dramatic face-off.

This pairing marks a significant reunion for Shah Rukh and Abhishek, who last shared screen space in films like Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and Happy New Year. Meanwhile, Raghav Juyal continues his upward trajectory in the industry, fresh off his role in The Ba***ds of Bollywood, the directorial debut of Aryan Khan.

Following her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s OTT release The Archies, Suhana Khan is set to make her theatrical debut with King. Notably, she shares screen space with her father for the first time, with her role forming a crucial part of the film’s core storyline.

Backed by Red Chillies Entertainment, and directed by Siddharth Anand known for films like Pathaan and War, once can expect high-octane action, sleek visuals, and big-screen spectacle.
