During his recent trip to Udaipur—where he was performing at the sangeet ceremony of Netra Mantena and Vamsi Gadiraju—Ranveer took a nostalgic walk down memory lane.

“I want to tell you, Udaipur is like a lucky charm for love stories. I shot a movie here, called Ram-Leela. It was back in the day, and I was starring opposite your Bhabhi. And it was on the long Udaipur schedule of Ram Leela that our love story blossomed. Since then it has been 13 years of togetherness, seven years of marriage, and one beautiful baby girl. So you see? Udaipur is very, very lucky for love stories,” he said.

Fans, many of whom still adore the couple's journey from co-stars to soulmates, were immediately moved by the moment.

On November 14, 2018, Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot in a romantic ceremony at Lake Como in Italy. Another lovely chapter in the couple's story was added in September of last year when they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Dua Padukone Singh.

On November 15, 2013, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela, the movie that initially brought them together, celebrated its 12th anniversary.
