Aamir Khan and his girlfriend Gauri Spratt turned heads at the premiere of Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, arriving hand in hand and exuding effortless charm.

Aamir Khan kept it casual yet stylish in a black t-shirt and blue denim jeans, topped with a black velvet half jacket. Gauri on the other hand complemented him perfectly in a simple grey t-shirt and flowing black palazzos, proving that understated elegance can be just as striking as glamour.

But the real fun came off the red carpet, courtesy of comedian Sunil Grover, because of the promotional clip for Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos has gone viral, showing  Sunil Grover’s unmatched comic timing and mimicry skills, so much so that he hilariously ends up getting Aamir Khan thrown out of his own office. The skit, teasingly called “real-Aamir vs fake-Aamir,” has quickly become a fan favourite online.

The glam walk on the red carpet became a funny one as paps and photographers started calling Aamir Khan as Sunil Grover.

In the video, Vir Das walks into what looks like Aamir Khan’s office, only to find Sunil Grover confidently sitting in the superstar’s chair, dressed and acting exactly like him. Suspicious at first, Vir questions his identity, but Sunil convinces him with ease. When Vir points out a subtle difference, Sunil quips, “I have been working out.”

The comedy continues as Sunil showers praise on Vir Das, saying, “I am so proud of you, man. What a picture you have made, Happy Patel. Raj Kapoor, Nolan ke baad, Vir Das. You know I am telling you.” He hands over a ‘bonus’ cheque, adding, “Your film is a superhit. It’s a bonus cheque — please take it, don’t refuse. It’s my experience. If the picture doesn’t turn out to be a superhit, then I am not Aamir Khan. Oscar, Oscar, Oscar.”

Sunil even gives Vir another cheque for the sequel, saying, “Here, take this cheque for the sequel. I really want to make it. Now don’t cry, otherwise I’ll start crying too.” Just then, the real Aamir Khan enters, bemused at seeing Grover dressed like him. Vir points to Aamir, asking, “Who are you?” to which the superstar laughs and replies, “Ghajni ban gaya hai tu (Have you lost your memory)? I’ll punch you. I am Aamir, your producer.”
