Dhurandhar continues to make waves, and amid its massive success at the box office, its songs have also become hugely popular among audiences. Apart from FA9La and the Dhurandhar title track, another song, Shararat, is being widely loved.
In a recent interview, the choreographer of the song Vijay Ganguly revealed that it was not Krystle D’Souza or Ayesha Khan but another actress who was the original choice for the performance.
The song Shararat features two dancers—Ayesha and Krystle—performing for the guests at the high-profile Karachi wedding. Choreographer Vijay Ganguly disclosed that his first choice had been Tamannaah Bhatia during an interview with Filmygyaan.
He stated, "In my head, she was (the one). I had suggested her, but Aditya was very clear that he did not want what people call an item song, something that went out of the story. If it were just about one girl, it would have taken attention away from the story."
Eventually, Aditya persuaded Vijay to include two dancers in the song instead of just one, which led to Ayesha and Krystle being brought on board.
He explained that he didn’t want the focus to be on a single person, noting that if it had been Tamannaah, the attention would have centered on her rather than the story.

"Jo ho raha tha film mein, there was a lot going on, and if you go away from the story, then the song is just a cut-to song,” he added.
Helmed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is a spy action thriller starring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, and Rakesh Bedi in key roles. Sara Arjun made her film debut as the lead actress. The film is smashing the box office, having earned almost Rs 800 crores worldwide.
