Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit recently posted an old video of the late Bollywood icon Satish Shah singing with his signature warmth and charm, offering a heartwarming look into his life.

In the clip, Satish Shah , casually dressed in a t-shirt and trousers, delivers a heartfelt rendition of the timeless song Yeh Raatein Yeh Mausam.

Ashoke Pandit captioned it, “Dear Satish. This talent of yours will keep on echoing in our memories,” reflecting the deep admiration and affection he, and countless fans, felt for the actor.

Over the past few weeks, Pandit has been posting nostalgic moments from Shah’s career, celebrating the joy, humour, and energy he brought to every set.

Earlier, he shared a still from the iconic TV series Yeh Jo Zindagi Hai, recalling the fun and camaraderie on set: “The ‘Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi’ days! An experience of a lifetime when I was in the company of one of the greatest actors, #SatishShah, who kept the sets vibrant, full of laughter, singing, dancing, joking around, mimicking everyone and occasionally scolding me. Along with directors Kundan Shah, Manjul Sinha, Raman Kumar and co-actors Shafi Inamdar, @rawalswaroop, Farida Jalal, @therakeshbedi, Vijay Kashyap & Sulbha Arya. #Flashback.”

Ashoke Pandit also highlighted Shah’s musical talent in another post from his show FilmiChakkar: “One of the highlights of #SatishShah’s enormous acting talent was his singing. My show #FilmiChakkar was uplifted because of his tremendous timing and love for Hindi cinema. Can’t believe you have left us and gone. Miss you, dost.”

Shah’s passing on 15 October due to kidney failure left fans and colleagues heartbroken. Pandit was the first to break the news and stood by his family during their grief.
