Arjun Bijlani on his equation with Dhanashree Verma, says ‘I don’t even have her number’

Arjun Bijlani, who has recently lifted the trophy of reality show Rise and Fall, opened up about his rapport with his co-contestant and choreographer Dhanashree Verma.

During the show, the two were often seen together, but Arjun Bijlani addressed their relationship after the show.

In an interview with Filmygyaan, Arjun said that the two are not on talking terms anymore.

“I’m not on talking terms with her because I don’t even have her number, honestly. Jo, show me that woh hi tha, and it’s not like I have taken the effort to be in touch with her or anything of that sort. She is doing what she has to do,” he said.

The Naagin actor revealed that he and Dhanashree have not communicated since the show ended, adding that he doesn’t even have her number anymore. According to him, everything viewers saw between them on screen was limited to the environment of the show, and nothing carried forward once the cameras stopped rolling.

During Rise & Fall, Arjun and Dhanashree shared moments that sparked conversations among viewers, especially when Dhanashree opened up emotionally about her personal life and divorce.

Arjun’s comforting gesture was widely noticed, but he later clarified that it was an act of empathy, not a strategic move for the game.

Despite these moments, their journey on the show also included disagreements and heated arguments, with accusations during tasks occasionally straining their dynamic.

During the reality show, Dhanashree has shown her vulnerable side. In one of the episodes, Dhanashree became emotional on the show as she opened up about her past with former husband and cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. Reflecting on that moment, Arjun Bijlani told Hindustan Times that what began as a simple act of concern was later exaggerated beyond reality. Arjun ultimately went on to win Rise and Fall Season 1.
