Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai has recently shared a heartfelt anniversary for her parents, Vrinda Rai and Krishnaraj Rai, on social media.
Aishwarya shared two unseen pictures of her parents on Instagram. Alongside the pictures, she penned in the caption, “Dearest Darling Mommy-Doddaaa and Daddy-Ajjaaa.”
The actress continued, “Prayers and Anniversary Love God Bless Always. LOVE YOU ETERNALLY.” Aishwarya shared a picture of her parents in the first slide.
Meanwhile, the second slide featured a picture of Aishwarya with her parents in front of a Ganesha idol. The actress is seen holding her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, in the pic.
The anniversary post came after Aishwarya reacted to her comeback to Bollywood. During a recent conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, the actress talked about the sidelines of an international film platform.
The actress also reflected on why global film festivals still hold deep meaning for her, even after decades of walking some of the world’s most prestigious red carpets.
Aishwarya also discussed ideas surrounding comebacks, a phrase frequently used by the media and industry, during her workshop.
She made her stance clear and said, “I don't believe in those terminologies." She also noted that artistry is not bound by phases or labels. "At the end of the day, once an artist, always an artist," she explained.
The actress continues to make impressions at international film festivals like Red Sea International Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival and more global events.
On the work front, Aishwarya appeared in the 2023 release Ponniyin Selvan 2, continuing her long-standing presence on the big screen.
