Ahaan Panday has been termed one of India’s most prominent Gen Z stars after his debut film Saiyaara. Already working on his next project, Ahaan might end up spending his 28th birthday not celebrating, but preparing for the film.
According to Pinkvilla, Ahaan began an intensive action training earlier this week for Ali Abbas Zafar’s action film under the Yash Raj Films banner. According to the source quoted in the report, Ahaan will undergo over 60 days of rigorous action prep to match the “raw, brute-force” physicality that Zafar envisions. “It’s purely a coincidence that his action training begins on his birthday. There are no days off for Ahaan — this year, he’s celebrating by working,” the insider shared.
The prep will reportedly include multiple action disciplines, with Ali Abbas Zafar personally supervising Ahaan’s transformation. “Ali wants to unlock a side of Ahaan that audiences haven’t even imagined yet. He’s known for shaping superstars into larger-than-life action icons, and he’s excited to craft something explosive with a young talent like Ahaan,” the source added.
Ahaan Panday is riding high on the success of Saiyaara, which became the highest-grossing romantic film in Indian cinema, earning over Rs 560 crore worldwide. His debut sparked comparisons to Hrithik Roshan’s iconic launch in Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai, and expectations for his next project are soaring.

In Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming film, Ahaan will be seen in an action-romance avatar, a shift from his blockbuster romantic debut. The actor is scheduled to begin shooting for the film in the UK in March 2026 alongside Sharvari.
Ahaan was recently spotted by the paparazzi after a workout session. On being complimented about his physique, Ahaan humbly replied saying, "Bahot mehnat lagi hai." The actor also obliged for selfies before driving off in his car.
