Bigg Boss 19 host Salman Khan has recently appeared in the Weekend Ka Vaar and has asked for an update on singer and contestant Amaal Mallik’s new song, turning the episode into an unplanned music premiere.
The host asked Amaal if he had written anything new in the house. Without hesitation, the singer-composer started singing, “Yuh toh kuchh bhi kami nahi tere bin, zindagi bas zindagi nahi tere bin, tere bin.”
The lyrics of the song immediately impressed Salman, with the actor joking, “This song is mine now.”
The housemates cheered, and social media users were agog after the lighthearted exchange. With a different goal in mind, Amaal Mallik, who has sung in hit movies like Jai Ho, Khoobsurat, Hero, Baaghi, Kapoor & Sons, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kabir Singh, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, entered the Bigg Boss 19 house.
The music composer talked about his Bigg Boss gig and said, “I was very excited to say yes to this show. It’s been almost 10 years for me in the industry, and I feel people have often misunderstood me when I’ve spoken about the industry’s reality.”

Amaal further noted that the setbacks don’t affect him. He shared, “Whenever I am removed from films or I don’t feel the right vibe, I take a backseat. When 2-3 producers fire me from big films, I happily go on a holiday, and I don’t take these things to heart.”
Beyond music, Amaal disclosed that he entered Bigg Boss 19 in part to gain recognition. “I want the people who have loved my music for the past 10 years to know the person behind it. People should recognise that it’s Amaal Mallik, not Armaan Mallik or Aditya Roy Kapur.”
