Bhumi Pednekar walks in ICW for Ritu Kumar

Bhumi Pednekar attracted attention as the showstopper for famed designer Ritu Kumar during the just-ended India Couture Week 2025.

At the July 27 event, Bhumi looked stunning in a beige lehenga that combined classic style with a modern twist, radiating regal charm and elegance.

Her appearance was a part of Ritu Kumar's Threads of Time: Reimagined collection, which honours the designer's illustrious legacy while reinterpreting it with her son Amrish Kumar's contemporary sensibility.

The essence of the collection was exquisitely encapsulated by Bhumi's ensemble, which embraced contemporary cuts and aesthetics while paying homage to the rich Indian craftsmanship. She wore a gorgeous beige lehenga set with delicate brown accents that accentuated the elaborate embroidery all over the ensemble.

Beautiful threadwork and lace-embroidered borders accentuated the blouse's sleeveless silhouette and plunging neckline. A flowing A-line skirt with intricate sequin embellishments, brown and gold thread embroidery, and a gorgeously embellished gotta patti border was worn with it.

A striking cape jacket with intricate embroidery of floral motifs added flair and drama to the ensemble. One of the most striking pieces of the evening, the cape's open front, sweeping train, and slits on the sleeves gave Bhumi's traditional outfit a contemporary twist.

Bhumi finished off her couture look with a striking pair of emerald and diamond earrings and a bold choker necklace, which contrasted beautifully with the muted colours of her outfit. Her hair was twisted into a center-parted style, which added a sleek touch to the whole ensemble.

A dark berry red lip, flushed cheeks, softly shimmering pink eyes, winged eyeliner, voluminous lashes, and a hint of luminous highlighter completed her glowing, dewy base makeup look.

Regarding her career, Bhumi Pednekar made her OTT debut in Netflix's The Royals. Ishaan Khatter, Zeenat Aman, and Sakshi Tanwar were among the ensemble cast members of the series, which was directed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana.
