Maine Pyar Kiya actress Bhagyashree, who was last seen in Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video, recently shared a message for mothers during Mother's Day week.

She took to her Instagram and shared a throwback photo with her son Abhimanyu and daughter Avantika, whom she shares with her husband, Himalaya Dasani. The actress penned a sweet note about being a good mother and shared that it involves more than just shielding her kids - it's also about raising them to be self-sufficient.

The photo was accompanied with the caption that reads, “Being Mom! A week to Mother's Day. In a program organized for young Moms, I shared a bit of what I learnt through life. My children mean the world to me and there is nothing I wouldn't do for them but, if I truely did that I would not be a good mom.”

She explained, “Children need to be taught to be independent, to learn through mistakes they make, to rise up when they fall, to grow through adversities and help others who cannot.

The actress further noted that people could hold their children's hands when they learned to walk, but had to let go so that the children could run. She added that love didn't come through need, just as caring was never protection enough.

The caption continued, “We can hold their finger when they learn to walk, but we have to let go so that they can run. Love doesn't come through need, just as caring is never protection enough.”

She concluded her post while noting that in today's world, which was as fierce as the jungle, survival was what mattered, and to achieve that, children had to be strong and capable, like the Lion King.

Bhagyashree tied the knot with Himalaya Dasani on 19 January 1989. The couple welcomed two children, a son and a daughter. The actress’ son, Abhimanyu Dasani, won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his performance in the 2019 film Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota.

On the professional front, Bhagyashree made her acting debut with the 1989 blockbuster Maine Pyar Kiya alongside Salman Khan, which was also her breakthrough role. She went on to star in several films, and her most recent credit includes Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Chatrapathi, among others.
