Veteran actress Bhagyashree recently suffered an unfortunate injury while playing pickleball, leading to multiple surgeries, according to reports.
The Maine Pyar Kiya star sustained a deep wound on her forehead during the game, which required immediate medical attention. The severity of the injury led to her undergoing surgery, and she received 13 stitches on her forehead.
A paparazzo shared photos of Bhagyashree from the hospital on Instagram, offering fans a glimpse of her recovery journey. The images quickly gained attention, with well-wishers sending their prayers and support for her speedy healing.
In one of the pictures, Bhagyashree is seen lying on a hospital bed receiving treatment, while another captures her with a bandaged forehead, smiling despite the injury, showcasing her resilience.
Bhagyashree became a household name with her Bollywood debut in Maine Pyar Kiya (1989), where she starred opposite Salman Khan. Although the film was a massive success, she stepped away from mainstream cinema after marriage, choosing to appear in select projects over the years.
After a long hiatus, she returned to the screen with impactful roles, including portraying J. Jayalalithaa’s mother in Kangana Ranaut's Thalaivii (2021) and appearing in Radhe Shyam (2022) alongside Prabhas and Pooja Hegde.
